Yogi master was sitting under a tree meditating.

After a while, a person came to him in a desperate mood.  He woke him up and asked , Man: Master I have read in the scripture that everything is connected to everything else.  This cannot be true I will prove it to yourself. He pointed out to a donkey standing at some distance.

Man: you see this ! I am not connected to that stupid donkey. I don't have any relationship with him now nor in future. 

Master: My friend then with whom are you connected in your life right now .

Man : I am connected to my wife and my son.  Master : looked around and said O my friend I don't see you are connected to your wife and son. I don't see them here.

Man:   Oh that's not what I mean.   I mean I love them. 

Master : again looked in bewildered way ... I don't see you are loving them right now.

Man: Please listen and see master,  I am  talking about them right now. please see that!

Master: I see that.  You also said , you are not connected to that donkey.

Man: Yes I am not at all connected to that donkey.

Master:  smiled . But I see that you are  talking about  donkey right now!

The man bowed as he has received his answer from the Master!

The story explains the concept of omnipresent God that he is present is everything  and thus everything is connected to everything else

Chapter 6, Verse 30

यो मां पश्यति सर्वत्र सर्वं च मयि पश्यति |

तस्याहं न प्रणश्यामि स च मे न प्रणश्यति || 30||

BG 6.30: For those who see me everywhere and see all things in me, I am never lost, nor are they ever lost to me
